SPONSOR A VETERAN AT OUR HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC

**Update** to the Natural Horsemanship Clinic with Tim Hayes, author of “Riding Home: The Power of Horses to Heal”

We have adapted our clinic format to take advantage of a unique opportunity to introduce a group of 15 veterans to natural horsemanship, at no cost to the veteran. They will have two days working hands-on with our mustangs under the guidance of author and Natural Horsemanship clinician Tim Hayes.

Our Board is sponsoring five veterans, and American Legion Post 800 will sponsor others. We have capacity for 15 veterans, and there are six slots left. If you are interested, please purchase a Sponsor Ticket or contact Ray Barmore at (951) 659-4687.

Your $400 Sponsorship will cover the cost of One Veteran’s room, board and 2-Day Clinic.

This event is not intended for therapeutic results but rather exploring the human-animal connection, its health benefits, and the positive interactions between horse and human.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2018 at IDYLLWILD BREWPUB

5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Join Us for a Talk with Author and Natural Horsemanship Clinician Tim Hayes. Tim is a nationally recognized Natural Horsemanship Clinician who will talk about “How & Why Horses Heal Humans and Help Us All Become Better People.”

The connection between humans and animals is one of the most fundamental bonds we can experience. Living Free Animal Sanctuary and War Horse Creek are focused on the human-animal connection, exploring the roles that animals play in creating healing environments. The immediate and long-term health benefits of animals on the mind, body, and spirit continue to emerge. While many of us intuitively understand the benefits of positive interactions with animals in our lives, recent studies are recognizing the impact the human-animal bond can have on individual and community health.

FUNDRAISERS, ADOPTION FAIRS & COMMUNITY CLINICS

We work in partnership with some of the most incredible people and organizations in Riverside County. We’ve held fundraisers at fine art galleries, celebrated motorcyclists who rode to raise money for the critters, participated in adoption fairs and much more.

Each month, we work with Luke’s Legacy Foundation and Dr. Michael Nastro, DVM, to hold low-cost Community Spay/Neuter Clinics. Call the office to find out when the next clinic will be held.
